Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role

This is a newly created position within our Northern European Regional HR team, presenting an opportunity to shape and define the future talent acquisition strategy across the region. Reporting directly to the Regional HR Director, you will serve as a strategic talent partner to regional leadership across the region.

In this role, you will lead the transition toward a proactive, direct-sourcing model—taking full ownership of market intelligence, employer branding, and talent pipeline creation to support our regional growth ambitions.

Locations: This role offers location flexibility and can be based out of any of our regional hubs: Gothenburg (Sweden), Rødovre (Denmark), Oslo (Norway), Nurmijärvi (Finland), or Banbury (United Kingdom).

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers during the full-cycle recruitment process. Design and facilitate structured training for hiring managers and local HR on Competency-Based Interviewing (CBI) frameworks to ensure objective, harmonized evaluations.

  • Partner closely with the Regional Marketing Department to localize and bring our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to life across digital channels and social campaigns. Coordinate and participate in university careers fairs, technical college events, and professional meetups to attract early-career talent.

  • Establish, evaluate, and manage localized recruitment agency panels across the region, partnering with procurement to negotiate terms and formalize SLAs.

  • Design, launch, and manage regional Employee Referral Programs across all operating countries to drive employee advocacy. Collaborate with the Talent Development (L&D) Specialist to assess internal capabilities and succession plans before opening external searches.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, including at least 2 years managing a multi-site or regional cross-border remit.

  • Proven track record of independently headhunting diverse profiles—ranging from technical/engineering service roles and commercial sales specialists to senior operational managers.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing Competency-Based Interviewing (CBI) frameworks and delivering interviewer training or coaching to hiring managers across multiple locations.

  • High proficiency in enterprise ATS platforms (preferably SAP SuccessFactors), LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced search, and modern AI sourcing platforms.

  • Hands-on experience negotiating and managing recruitment agency agreements under clear KPIs, as well as launching or driving employee referral programs.

  • Professional business fluency in English (verbal and written) is required. Proficiency in one or more Nordic languages (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, or Finnish) is a strong advantage.
