Before we accept your application, we would like to point out that we process your personal data as part of the application procedure. We therefore ask you to familiarise yourself with the following data protection information.

I. Data protection information

1. For what purpose will my data be processed?

The data processing takes place during the application procedure exclusively for the purpose of carrying out this procedure. If we agree to cooperate with you at the end of the application procedure, your personal data that has come to our knowledge as part of the application procedure will then also be processed for the purpose of implementing your employment relationship. You will be informed of this separately at the beginning of your employment relationship.


2. What personal data of mine is collected?

As part of the application procedure, we only process data that is necessary for processing the application procedure. This includes in particular your name, address and contact details, your curriculum vitae, your school, study or training certificates, your employment references as well as other information and documents regarding your qualifications. Under certain conditions, video files (job interviews via video) are also processed. If you submit a request for reimbursement of travel expenses after an interview, your bank details will also be requested.


3. Social Media feed

If you become aware of our job ads via an advertisement in your social media feed on Facebook, Instagram, Xing or LinkedIn or similar, and click on them, this will take you to a page where you will be asked some specific selection questions relating to the job. After you have answered the last question, you have the opportunity to leave us your contact details (first name, last name, email address and/or telephone number). Your contact details will be stored on the respective social media platform of Alfred Kärcher Vertriebs-GmbH. In the application procedure, Kärcher is supported by interpool Personal GmbH, Berliner Allee 24, 13088 Berlin, Germany, which will contact you to arrange the further steps in the application procedure.


4. Is the processing of my data mandatory?

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, we would like to point out that the application procedure cannot be carried out without processing your personal data.    


5. Who is responsible for processing my data under data protection law?

We take this responsibility seriously. We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data and guarantee that your data will be handled in accordance with data protection regulations.


6. Who receives my data as part of the application procedure?

Your application will be processed with the aid of software. For this purpose, your personal data will be stored on a cloud server of SAP SuccessFactors.

will provide support in processing the application procedure. interpool Personal GmbH has been part of the Kärcher Group since 1 July 2017 and acts fully on our behalf and in our name. For this purpose, interpool Personal GmbH will also process your personal data. The activities of interpool Personal GmbH may also include the screening and assignment of incoming applications as well as conducting interviews via video or telephone. Data is not transferred to a third country outside the European Union.


7. What is the legal basis for processing my personal data?

Our entitlement to process your personal data in the context of the application procedure results from Section 26 (1) sentence 1 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in the version of 30 June 2017.

For the involvement of interpool Personal GmbH, we require your consent under data protection law, which you can grant us on a voluntary basis below. You can revoke your consent at any time. A revocation does not affect the legality of the processing of your personal data based on your consent up to this point in time.


8. How long will my data be stored?

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to process the application procedure. If, at the end of the application procedure, we are unable to agree on a collaboration with you, your data will be deleted after six months. 

In the event of a subsequent collaboration, your personal data, already processed in the application procedure, will generally only be stored for as long as is necessary for your employment relationship.


9. What rights do I have when processing my data?

In the processing of your personal data, you have the rights set out in Article 15 to Article 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This includes, in particular, a right of access, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and a right to object.

II. Declaration of consent to the participation of Interpool GmbH in the application procedure

By giving your consent below, you declare that you agree to

1. the processing of your personal data by Interpool GmbH

2. and to the transfer of your personal data by Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG to Interpool GmbH

for the purpose of processing your application.

The submission of your declaration of consent is voluntary.

However, we would like to point out that we will not be able to consider your application if you do not agree to the transfer of your data to Interpool GmbH. You can revoke your consent at any time by sending a short email to recruiting.center@de.kaercher.com or by calling +49(0)7195 14-5440. The revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
