Regional OTC Analyst

Kärcher is a world-leading provider of cleaning technology, known globally for innovation, quality, and sustainability. Within Region Northern Europe, our finance team plays a critical strategic role in driving operational excellence, supporting sales growth, and optimizing end-to-end commercial operations. We are now seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Regional OTC Analyst to join our northern region finance team.

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
Position Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Regional OTC Analyst to join our regional finance team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will hold overall responsibility for ensuring a smooth, flawless Order-to-Cash (OTC) process across Region Northern Europe, with a dedicated focus on customer rebates, master data accuracy, and commercial finance reporting.

You will serve as a key business partner to local sales teams, our Shared Service Center (KGS), and regional finance leadership, ensuring commercial terms are executed accurately and compliant with group guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Rebate Management

  • You will take ownership of the end-to-end rebate lifecycle by managing annual rebate provisions, generating recurring tracking reports, and calculating accurate customer payables. Through rigorous monthly reviews of the Rebates & Provisions accounts, you will ensure accrual precision and minimize financial exposure while partnering closely with sales teams during regular tracking reviews. Additionally, you will support the OTC team in clearing Key Account balances impacted by rebate settlements and take responsibility for tracking, calculating, and recharging the Head Office (AKW) for all eligible price support agreements.

Commercial Reporting & Financial Analysis

  • You will deliver commercial insights to leadership by compiling, analyzing, and presenting comprehensive rebate reports that highlight key revenue and margin trends. Your analytical scope will include monitoring customer payment terms and credit limit exposures to recommend proactive adjustments to credit insurance and risk profiles. Furthermore, you will provide plausibility reporting on rebates, Key Account profitability, and credit governance to uphold Authorized Level Guidelines (ALGs), while delivering ad-hoc OTC analytics on critical performance metrics such as DSO, rebate accrual accuracy, and accounts receivable aging.

Process Optimization, Automation & Compliance

  • You will actively drive continuous improvement by identifying workflow bottlenecks and optimizing processes across the broader OTC rebate landscape. As a champion for digital transformation, you will leverage modern automation and AI tools to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and streamline complex reconciliations. To ensure standard compliance, you will oversee master rebate templates and documentation in alignment with commercial sales contracts and the global condition grid, while serving as the primary finance point of contact for internal and external auditors during interim and year-end audits.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional certifications such as CPA or CMA.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant financial experience, with strong exposure to accounts receivable, reconciliations, and overall Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
  • Strong proficiency in and hands-on experience with SAP (specifically the CCS module) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), preferably as well as advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Google Sheets.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset focused on continuous process optimization and a strong interest in leveraging digital and AI tools to streamline workflows.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English, paired with exceptional stakeholder-management skills. Preferably also fluent in Swedish and a comfort level working with other Nordic languages.

Who You Are

  • You thrive in an international, matrixed environment, working seamlessly with local sales units, regional leadership, and shared service centers.
  • You make informed decisions, manage complexity with ease, and focus on delivering measurable results.
  • You bring an agile mindset to change, actively exploring new methods, tools, and best practices to drive efficiency.
