Material Handler

Pay Range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour depending on experiance.

This is how you WOW:

  • Material Movement & Inventory: Load, unload, move, stock, pull, and label materials efficiently. Prepare items for production lines or external customer shipments.

  • Accuracy & Documentation: Count, weigh, and record all material transactions accurately, executing required computer entries to maintain inventory integrity.

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate a pallet jack, dolly, and specialized material handling machinery as trained and assigned.

  • Instruction & Collaboration: Ability to receive feedback, follow detailed instructions, and collaborate effectively with line and warehouse teams.

  • Practical Problem-Solving: Capability to troubleshoot common and frequent material flow issues on the fly.

  • High Performance Standards: Proven drive to meet or exceed daily movement metrics (e.g., handling 30 bins per hour in repack and supporting 85%+ on-time delivery of set carts).

  • Continuous Improvement: A proactive mindset to evaluate daily processes for efficiency and actively participate in Continuous Improvement events.

  • Machine Operation: Willingness and capability to operate and drive machinery across the facility floor.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours, walk frequently, and reach with hands and arms. You must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The environment frequently involves working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to airborne particles, and a high noise level where proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
