Engineered Application Technician I (Specials)
The salary range for this position is $26.00 – $31.00 DOE

Assists in the quotation, procurement, and processing of special modifications to all current Karcher brands of machinery or the building of a machine not currently a part of all Kärcher brands.
This is how you WOW:
- Understands and performs this job within the scope of the Kärcher Quality Policy by following specified processes, procedures and work instructions when performing assigned tasks and acting on quality problems by utilizing the corrective & preventive action process.
- Assembles or coordinates with the manufacturing team supervisor, the assembly of the special-order machine(s).
- Works with production planners in scheduling the production of the machine.
- Modifies wiring and mechanical prints as needed.
- Changes bill of materials to match the special if the special is approved by the dealer.
- Assist with specials assembly by pulling parts for special orders.
- Prepares and enters the material transfer of parts and components to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Tags completed special order machine(s) and assists the test booth with the testing process.
- Logs all special-order machine(s), with a picture of the machine(s), to provide records of all special orders completed for future reference.
- Assist test booth with trouble shooting when requested.
- Coordinates the machine staging process by working with production management, fabrication management, team supervisors and specials assembly technicians and assembly personnel.
- As needed, creates sales order in the system and the work order for manufacturing.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience is required.
