Application Engineer CAD / CAE (m/f/d)

• As part of our interdisciplinary team, you support us in the operation and further development of our international engineering tool chain (especially CAD / CAE).

• Together with business partners and product owners, you analyze needs, requirements and applications and develop technical solutions for the sustainable development of our system landscape.

• You actively lead the technical implementation and coordinate with suppliers, partners and departments involved (e.g. for testing, acceptance).

• Together with your team, you ensure the technical operation of our engineering applications and contribute your own ideas for improvement.

• The implementation of service requests / changes and the processing of incident tickets are also part of your regular tasks.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

• Successfully completed university studies (computer science/business informatics) or a comparable technically oriented qualification in combination with several years of professional experience in the IT engineering environment.

• Initial experience in managing engineering applications in a global context.

• Several years of administrative experience in one of the following areas MCAD (preferably Catia V5), ECAD (preferably Zuken E3), Simulation (e.g. Ansys, Altair).

• Enthusiasm for agile working methods and desire to develop technical concepts, methods, tools and products to continuously improve our know-how.

• Fluent in English.

• Professional competence, strong communication skills, enjoyment of tricky and challenging tasks, and the ability to work in a team complete your profile.
