Head of Accounts Payable Department

 

Kärcher Global Services GmbH & Co KG (KGS) is an independent subsidiary within the Kärcher Group with around 200 employees and offers high-quality services for financial and purchasing processes. From the KGS headquarters in Winnenden/Schwaikheim as well as in China and Mexico, it supports our international customers in the areas of accounting, controlling, management reporting and purchasing of non-production materials.

 

Extraordinary tasks require extraordinary people. We are looking forward to your committed support to strengthen our Accounts Payable department in Schwaikheim near Stuttgart (Germany).

 

Your tasks 

  • Together with your 40-head-count team, you are responsible for our accounts payable department. Your team is divided into three groups (Global Finance Payables 1-3). 

  • In close coordination with our international group companies as well as our suppliers, you ensure that incoming payment claims are processed and settled in SAP on time. 

  • You will be involved in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the entire Kärcher Group. 

  • You will also initiate and lead global finance projects (e.g. the centralisation of the global accounts payable process or the development and implementation of modern digital tools for process improvement). 

  • Your central goals? Achieving cost benefits, transparency, uniform global standards and automated processes.

 

Your qualification profile 

  • A completed commercial degree (e.g. business administration, economics, finance, accounting) or comparable training with appropriate further qualification (e.g. balance sheet accounting).

  • Several years of professional experience in finance and in the optimisation and digitalisation of financial processes. 

  • Very good SAP FI/CO knowledge.

  • Business fluent in English, combined with excellent communication skills. German language skills are not a must.
