Your tasks?

 

  • You develop, test, navigate and connect new intelligent cleaning machines for our B2B customers: From the initial idea through pre-series development to remote maintenance and continuous improvement in the field.
  • In close collaboration with our product management, you will conceptualize hardware and electronics architectures for existing and future Kärcher floor care robots, develop corresponding prototypes and bring them into series production. 
  • And of course every robot needs preventative maintenance to ensure top-level performance and consistency.
  • Within cross functional projects you work closely with our international development partners and strengthen the relationship with them. 

 

 

Do you recognize yourself here?

 

  • You have successfully completed a degree in e.g. electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, automation technology or a similar field. 
  • You know exactly how to design and develop hardware architectures. 
  • Preferably, you have already gained practical experience in developing mobile (service) robots and/or driverless transport systems (DTS).
  • You are familiar with the evaluation, selection and integration of e.g. sensors, BLDC/AC/PM motors, connectivity and battery management systems. 
  • You are trained in testing electronic components and systems as well as measurement technology. 
  • You have basic knowledge regarding the certification of machines and have preferably already managed release processes. 
  • You are fluent in German (B1) and English (C1/C2). 
  • Ownership, creativity, drive, team spirit and an international mindset.
