Head of Product Management and Marketing

Your main purpose and driving force:

  • Strong positioning of Karcher products in the market with the focus on Professional product group, sales project, B2B activities
  • Coordinating marketing activities for all sales channels, executing global and local marketing strategy and policies
  • Promoting the image and Karcher brand, acting as a Brand Ambassador,
  • Studying the market and competition,
  • Attracting new profitable fields of activity for the company,
  • Providing the employees and partners with the appropriate product & skills trainings.

This is how you can WOW:

  • Being a single point of contact for higher management (Eastern Europe Region) regarding all marketing, product management, training topics
  • Elaborating company's Marketing strategy and policies and ensuring their implementation
  • Developing and implementing Professional Product strategy in close cooperation with local sales and service teams as well as regional management team
  • Developing pricing policies for products already launched on the market or for new ones, being responsible for product launch (including associated accessories, detergents and services) in local market and proactive communication with all employees
  • Implementation and development of brand strategy and development of communication strategy; Ensuring the success of the brand, its development and obtaining a strong and stable image in the market – Brand Ambassador
  • Continuous monitoring of Karcher brand performance, but also of competitors' development - especially anticipating the strategy and potential movements of the competition
  • Carrying out market studies in collaboration with colleagues from different departments, hands-on approach – identifying market structure, customers, potential for growth, prices, data collection and analysis, reporting on macroeconomic developments, preparing forecasts
  • Participating in national / international trade fairs, product demonstrations and field days, making proposals for process improvements and/or product portfolio
  • Coordinating training content and schedule for employees and customers/partners for better brand and product awareness
  • Active participation in budgeting process and controlling the approved measures accordingly – creating annual marketing plan with specific activities, close collaboration with sales departments on planning sales amounts by product groups, special campaigns etc.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

  • At least 3-5 years successful experience in leading positions in Marketing and/or Product Management with strong analytical and project management skills
  • Experience and/or knowledge within topics like Social Media, Digital Marketing, Category Planning, Product Management, Project Management
  • Previous experience in leadership positions with people management
  • Strong digital competencies
  • Confident and dynamic personality with focus on collaboration
  • Experience in multinational company and environment with a strong International Mindset
  • Strong in managing network structures
  • Proficient English written and verbal communication skills paired with critical thinking and the ability to translate both technical and non-technical efforts for different audiences
