Regional Senior Service Technician- South East London, Morden Area

 

Purpose of the Role

To be a custodian of the brand, to effectively meet our customers’ needs, and to help build a growing, profitable, sustainable Kärcher. To maintain a high standard of service and repair on all cleaning equipment ensuring the delivery of a world class service experience.

 

 Your key responsibilities will be:

  • To have regular communication with the Team Leader
  •  To Maintain, accurately diagnose and repair the full range of Industrial cleaning equipment including Municipal road sweepers
  • To complete documentation of work orders on Oneview FS365 to ensure accurate records are created
  • Controlling van stocks in accordance with customer base – ensuring 5% difference adhered to during all stock takes
  • To have effective, daily communication with regional scheduler to assist operations
  • Identifying and communicating sales leads to relevant sales person
  • Promote healthy relationships with customers and the One Professional Team
  • To maintain tools and equipment to a satisfactory and safe condition
  • To be a custodian of the brand at all times and demonstrate Kärcher values
  • To participate in on-job coaching with Team Leader to ensure personal development plan is relevant
  • Elevated duties in absence of Team Leader if required
  • Where required attend reactive weekend on-call work orders

 

 

Your qualifications and experience are :

  • 3 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 (A-C), or equivalent, including Maths and English
  • NVQ 2/3 in mechanical, electrical engineering.

  • C1/CPC license is also needed so the equipment worked on can be driven by the new starter.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven field service experience from within the industry
  • A Self-motivated Individual who can also work in a team
  • Full UK Driving License
