Packaging Engineer

This is how you WOW:

• New products packaging development and adjust the packaging for the variant project as well as improvement.
  Communicating with supplier for the new product packaging, confirming the packaging materials and the forms, verifying and trial assembly with the new samples.
• Analysis of packaging test results and working out the optimal solution.
• Following up packaging issues to fulfill the project schedules.
• Releasing the packaging materials timely, such as carton box, wooden pallet, EPS, EPE, operating manual, label, etc.
• Ensuring and carrying out the ECN / Modification request timely.
• Improving the design of the packaging materials for quality improvement.
• Providing the technical support to Purchasing Dept. to reduce the cost of packaging.
• Supporting the Controlling Dept. about the packaging for the new project quotation.
• Handing packaging issues raised by the relative departments and the complaint from customer then proposing corresponding improvement suggestions.
• Taking the quick actions for the issues which related to the packaging happened in the plant, such as the shortage of the packaging material, loading problems, etc. 
   

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

• Bachelor's degree in Material, printing technology, graphic design,...
• Experiences working in Packaging Technology or a similar position
• Technical knowledge of packaging, printing,...
• Knowing the property of different packaging materials, such as cardboard, wooden pallet, pulp, PE,...
• Have knowledge of different packaging test standards, such as ISTA 1A, ISTA 2A and ISTA 3A,...
• Have knowledge of software: Autocad, Photoshop, illustrator, Coreldraw, Catia...
• Good communication skills in English
