Regional Total Rewards Specialist

📍Preferred Location: Rødovre (Denmark), Nurmijärvi (Finland), or Oslo (Norway).

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Total Rewards Strategy: Design and continuously refine our compensation and benefits strategy. You will benchmark against the market, establish fair and consistent policies, manage our health and wellness programs, and champion pay equity to support our diversity and inclusion goals.

  • Lead the Nordic Payroll Project: Initially, you will take the lead in harmonizing and outsourcing our payroll function across the regional countries. Long-term, you will act as the primary contact for our payroll vendor, managing performance, ensuring seamless data integration with SuccessFactors, and guaranteeing compliance with all local regulations.

  • Manage Incentive & Bonus Programs: Collaborate with leadership to design and manage our bonus and incentive structures. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate calculations, clear communication to managers and employees, and transparent reporting on program effectiveness.

  • Ensure Compliance & Communication: Serve as the expert on rewards related compliance, supporting audits and ensuring all programs adhere to legal standards. You will also develop clear communication strategies and resources to help employees understand and value their total rewards package.

 

 

Your Profile

You are a highly analytical and strategic professional with a deep understanding of compensation and benefits principles. You excel at both large-scale project management and detailed operational oversight, and you are skilled at building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience in the field.

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation & benefits and/or payroll management at a Nordic level.

  • Proven project management experience, particularly with system implementations and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic, business-oriented mindset.

  • Experience managing relationships with external vendors (e.g., payroll providers, benefits consultants).

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken). Fluency in one or more Nordic languages is a strong advantage.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of compensation, benefits, and payroll legislation across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

  • Experience with HRIS integrations, specifically with SuccessFactors.

  • Fluency in one or more Nordic languages.
