Warehouse Manager (m/f/d) RDC Central Europe Supply Chain Management

- You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the warehousing and various transport service providers at our regional distribution centre in Marl, which serves the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany with our WOW products.
- In direct exchange with the service providers and the sales subsidiaries, you will continuously develop the logistical performance profile whilst considering defined standards and country-specific requirements.
- In doing so, you will measure and evaluate the performance provided by our partners on the basis of established key figures.
- If the results are not in line with the target values agreed in the service contracts, you will actively participate in the definition of suitable measures and support the successful and sustainable implementation of these measures.
- By providing realistic forecasts, you will make a valuable contribution to the capacity planning of our on-site warehouse service provider.
It would be WOW if you would bring this in:
- A successfully completed degree (e.g. business administration, industrial engineering, etc.) with a focus on logistics management or a commercial training in logistics with further qualification as a specialist or business administrator in this field.
- Several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics / transhipment warehouse.
- Good knowledge and application experience in SAP as well as Google Workspace (or standard Office applications).
- Business fluency in German and English is required, other foreign languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to regularly travel internationally (especially to your stakeholders in the Obersontheim logistics centre and the ALGs supplied, approx. once a quarter).
- Soft skills that can also score you points: Self-motivation, reliability, accuracy as well as a structured and team-oriented work style. Very good understanding of figures and fast comprehension. Assertiveness and a high degree of social and communication skills.
