Exceptional tasks require exceptional people. To strengthen our Supply Chain Planning department at our logistics centre in Obersontheim near Schwäbisch Hall, we are looking for your dedicated support.

 

 

Your tasks

 

  • In this specialist position, you will develop future-oriented planning processes for the Kärcher Group, thereby contributing to the long-term success of the business.
  • You will introduce one of the world's best planning tools and ensure its successful use.
  • To ensure a global planning standard, you will also develop the system and processes.
  • You will develop standards for network planning, capacity planning, production plants and suppliers. Additionally, you will also develop standards for inventory management
  • You will be responsible for the co-ordination of global conferences and consultations and the involvement of local management in the development of the system.
  • In addition, you will work closely with our internal IT, all involved departments (e.g. Supply Chain Management and Value Stream) as well as our foreign subsidiaries and production sites.
  • You will make minor adjustments to the Kinaxis planning system.
  • Last but not least, you will prepare analyses for the departments involved in order to generate clear recommendations for action in the supply chain area.

 


Your qualification profile

 

  • You have successfully completed your degree (eg. in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineer or equivalent) or have a comparable degree.
  • Several years of professional experience in planning, procurement, process or project management with a focus on logistics
  • Strong moderation and communication skills
  • Strong process affinity, ideally combined with experience in optimising procurement processes, demand processes, change management and innovation management
  • Good system knowledge (SAP/R3, APO or comparable tools, e.g. Kinaxis)
  • Good IT understanding with an affinity for performing configurations yourself 
  • Fluency in English, enabling you to work with national and international stakeholders 
  • A confident manner, a strong focus on processes and metrics, and a willingness to take on responsibility
