Exceptional tasks require exceptional employees. We are looking forward to your committed support to strengthen the Demand Planning group in our logistics center in Obersontheim nearby Schwäbisch Hall.
Your task
- In this high-responsibility position, you will be in charge of global forecasting within the Kärcher portfolio, including the management of product launches or succession planning.
- An essential part of your work will be the improvement of the statistical forecast, which is the responsibility of the headquarter and the basis of the global planning.
- To achieve this goal, you will be part of the implementation of a new agile planning software and make a key contribution to the design of the statistical processes.
- In this context, you will support Kärcher foreign subsidiaries on the topic of demand planning in Kinaxis RapidResponse and on the establishment of a structured S&OP process.
- Last but not least, you will monitor ongoing processes and proactively drive optimization in the area of Demand Planning.
Your qualification profile
- A degree (e.g. business administration, supply chain management, logistics management, industrial engineering, or similar), or a similar qualification.
- First professional experience in planning, procurement, process or project management with focus on logistics.
- Good understanding of statistics ideally in connection with demand planning.
- Confident user skills in SAP R3 and BW/BI, experience with planning software (e.g. APO, RapidRespone) and high IT affinity.
- Business fluent in English and basic German as well as solid communication skills that enable you to successfully collaborate with (inter)national stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel abroad for business on a regular basis.
- Analytical and results-oriented approach coupled with change management skills and strong customer focus.
