Dangerous Goods Officer (m/f/d) Supply Chain Management

  • Join us in establishing and developing a group-wide global dangerous goods organisation and contribute your expertise as a Dangerous Goods Officer (GbV)!

  • You will advise colleagues in our national and international subsidiaries on all questions relating to the transport of dangerous goods, monitor compliance with the relevant regulations (ADR/ RID/ ADN/ IATA) and prepare annual reports in accordance with the GbV.

  • In the event of accidents, malfunctions or infringements, you will take appropriate immediate action and document everything in a comprehensible manner.

  • You will also train and instruct our employees and ensure that everyone is up to date with relevant changes in dangerous goods legislation.

 

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

 

  • Completed technical or commercial studies (e.g. chemistry, technical business administration, economics) or comparable qualification.

  • Several years of relevant work experience is an advantage.

  • Valid training as a dangerous goods officer for road (optional: rail), sea and inland waterways as well as an IATA training certificate would be desirable.

  • You have knowledge of dangerous goods legislation GGVSEB, GbV, ADR/RID, ADN, GGVSee, IMDG-Code, IATA-DGR as well as related legal areas (e.g. Ordinance on Hazardous Substances, OWiG, quality management, waste legislation).

  • Business fluent in German and English, additional language skills are an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel (inter)nationally (approx. 10-12 per year).

  • You are a real team player, confident and able to communicate with different target groups in a solution-oriented manner, even in conflict situations. You are also highly reliable and enjoy taking on responsibility.
