Service Engineer - Kärcher Center Nottingham

 

Purpose of the role:

To service and repair the full range of Kärcher Professional and home & garden  cleaning equipment in a workshop environment as well onsite customer repairs where necessary.

 

Your key responsibilities will be :

  • Servicing and repairing the full range of Kärcher Professional cleaning equipment in a workshop and field environment
  • Recording all work out, completing the relevant reports via oneview, liasing with the customer at all times and support administrators 
  • Promoting & selling maintenance contracts and other Kärcher accessories 
  • Maintaining tools, equipment and vehicle in a satisfactory and safe condition at all times
  • Controlling warehouse stock of spares
  • Taking inventory of van spares
  • Upholding and promoting the Kärcher brand at all times
  • Carrying out additional duties as requested by management to meet business requirements
  • To act as a mentor and to support the learning of apprentices
  • Attending training, meetings and company events

 

Your qualifications and experience are :

  • 3 GCSEs at Grade C, or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • Qualified in mechanical/electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of the service and cleaning industries
  • Experience in a workshop engineering role and/or working with cleaning equipment
  • IT literate
  • Ability to find, diagnose and resolve technical problems
  • Good communication skills, both internally and externally with customers
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Full UK driving license
  • Willingness to travel
