Business Development Manager (m/f/d) - Professional Division - Ontario

We are currently hiring an experienced Business Development Manager for our Professional Business Unit, that will also expand our Home & Garden portfolio. Reporting to the Direct Sales Director, you will be focused on B2B sales, and you'll have exciting challenges to develop our distributors network and grow our business with new dealers. You will look for business development opportunities in a proactive and strategic way. 


 Your Tasks 


  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to meet sales revenue and profit targets.
  • Build relations with current distributorsas well as prospect for new businessopportunities.
  • Provide sales support including product demonstration and assistance for distribution as well as end users.
  • Support national/corporate account programs where required.
  • Conduct sales and product training for distribution sales staff and end users.
  • Participate in distributor shows, annual sales meetings and other marketing events.


 Your Qualifications


  •  A university degree, college diploma or extensive experience in the floor care industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven successful experience selling to, and supporting end users /distributors.
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude and enjoy working hands on with equipment.
  • Strong MS office skills and experience with a CRM system.
  • Availability to travel up to 75% across the Western Ontario and Toronto.
