Technical Support Delivery: Provide stellar technical service support via phone and email, delivering timely, accurate, and requested information to distributors and customers daily.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between the field and the factory by communicating directly with engineering and production teams to resolve recurring machine issues.

Operational Oversight: Take the lead over the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) area, manage the regional returns processing workflow, and coordinate the employee vehicle fleet for Kärcher Canada.

Knowledge & Training: Develop impactful training materials for exciting new product launches and assist with local technical training schools as needed.

Field Problem Solving: Multi-task efficiently to handle customer care functions, stepping out into the manufacturing environment or traveling occasionally to resolve pressing field problems.

Technical & Mental Aptitude: Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills paired with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and an ability to read complex technical diagrams.

Digital Literacy: Solid computer skills, including experience with Google Sheets/Docs, Word, Gmail, and enterprise platforms like SAP, AS400, MAPICS, or COM.

Problem-Solving Ability: The capacity to run basic math calculations and technical conversions to define field problems and draw logical, business-consistent conclusions.

Strong Communication: Excellent written skills to document complex repair issues, verbal clarity when speaking with diverse audiences, and bonus points if you speak French.

Customer Focus: A dedicated follow-through mindset that balances rapid customer care resolution with Kärcher Canada's core business values.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with arms and hands.

Technical Service Specialists should be prepared to spend portions of their shift working directly in a manufacturing plant environment to resolve pending customer issues.
