Service Account Manager

Kärcher is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Account Manager to be the primary post-sales point of contact for our key customers with Building Service Contracts (BSC). In this role, you will be the champion for operational efficiency, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective technical service delivery. You will balance customer advocacy with operational and financial effectiveness to drive optimal performance for our technicians and maintain exceptional customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship & Service Delivery: Serve as the proactive partner for defined key customers from contract inception, managing relationships and coordinating new technical service assignments.

Operational Coordination & Efficiency: Coordinate technician schedules and job assignments in collaboration with the Team Lead to optimize workflow. Act as an internal support resource for technicians, managing logistics, ordering parts, and coordinating loaner machines.

Service & Contract Management: Ensure service execution adheres strictly to contracts and internal schedules, coordinating external service partners as needed. Conduct cost analyses on service jobs to identify and implement efficiency measures.

Dispute Resolution & Improvement: Participate in warranty and goodwill decision-making, and lead internal debrief sessions to identify best practices and drive process improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Attend meetings with the Sales department to provide technical service input and support contract renewal efforts.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Technical high school diploma or vocational university (YH) degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics).

Experience: Proven experience in a technical service industry or a similar post-sales account management role. Solid understanding of service workflow, operational procedures, and experience with service contracts, warranty processes, and goodwill handling.

Skills: Clear communication, proficiency in English, CRM knowledge, and proven conflict resolution ability to handle customer complaints with diplomacy. A proactive and hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership and act decisively.
