Receiving Supervisor

This is how you WOW:

• Direct, coordinate and plan the inbound receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
• Oversee Receiving Dock including supervision of Receiving personnel.
• Assure the integrity of the Inbound inventory and assists in conducting cycle count, monthly and yearly physical inventory.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas.  Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse areas.
• Look for ways to improve warehouse processes in order to maximize efficiency.
• Develop team environment through effective coaching, mentoring, training, and regular performance feedback. 
• Have understanding of inventory as it relates to safety stock and min/max systems.
• Cultivate and maintains effective relationships with freight carriers, other vendors, and buyers.
• Prepare reports, recommendations, and other analysis, as necessary.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

• Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or business management discipline preferred.
•  3+ years’ experience as a warehouse or shipping/receiving supervisor.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with arms and hands.
• Standing for 8 hours and frequent walking required.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
