Warehouse Associate 2

Displays an aptitude towards process managed work tasks and a high regard for precision  and consistency in carrying-out their work assignments.  

Scope of skills and abilities allows working within a team of individuals and performing  individual tasks that are time-sensitive and necessary to maintain and complete downstream  processes.  

Is prepared to perform daily work assignments and maintains highly reliable attendance.  Safely and competently operates industrial equipment to transport, place and organize  products.  

Performs a wide range of tasks as assigned under general guidance in order to meet  specific daily schedules. 

Load parts and/or equipment onto carrier or has it already for loading.

Place materials/supplies on shelves, racks or in specified floor locations from pallets, trays,  and racks. 

 

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

  • Successfully trained and certified on the Taylor Dunn, sit down forklift and either the Order  Picker or Narrow Aisle Forklift.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of  education and experience.
  • 12 to 18 months related experience or training. Some computer experience preferred, but  not required.
  • Ability to be a team player and help in other areas of the department as needed.
  • Candidate must be able to read, write and understand in English

Work Environment

 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with arms and hands.

  • Standing for 8 hours and frequent walking required.

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. 

 

Physical Demands

 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to airborne particles. 

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually high, proper protective equipment is required.
