Material Handler

The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 CAD depending on experience.

This is how you WOW:

  • Safely operate and maneuver tractors, implement carriers, sweepers, and attachments for storage and shipment.
  • Load, unload, secure, and prepare shipments, ensuring proper strapping and protection of goods.
  • Conduct pre-shipment inspections to confirm accuracy and quality before dispatch.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of whole goods before delivery to customers.
  • Assist in washing and preparing equipment for shipment or showroom display.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare spare parts orders for domestic and international shipments.
  • Ensure same-day shipping for expedited orders received before noon and all other orders within 24 hours.
  • Prepare shipping labels and necessary documentation for outbound shipments.
  • Work with logistics and customer service teams to confirm accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and yard.
  • Label and organize bin locations for parts and equipment storage.
  • Perform daily inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
  • Use a scrubber/sweeper to maintain warehouse cleanliness.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
  • Monitor and respond to warehouse and parts-related emails, ensuring timely communication with internal teams, dealers, and external customers.
  • Inspect and document incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality using a digital photo process.
  • Follow shipping and receiving processes to ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Prepare international shipping documentation, including customs paperwork and export declarations.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory shipping requirements.
  • Support other logistics and warehouse-related tasks as needed.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Experience handling shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of international shipping documentation is preferred.
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills for email monitoring and warehouse documentation.
  • Valid Class A License for local towing and cartage services (preferred but not required).

Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with arms and hands.
  • Standing for 8 hours and frequent walking required.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually high, proper protective equipment is required.
