Equipment Support and Training Specialist

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 depending on experience. 

This is how you WOW:

  • Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to dealers and end-users.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software-related issues.
  • Assist with technical inquiries via phone, email, and video support.
  • Support warranty claim validation and ensure timely resolution of service concerns.
  • Document recurring issues and collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop solutions.
  • Develop and deliver hands-on training programs for operators, service technicians, and dealer personnel.
  • Conduct in-depth training on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead train-the-trainer programs to empower dealer technicians and fleet managers.
  • Create and update training manuals, instructional videos, and technical documentation.
  • Perform on-site equipment demonstrations showcasing technical features, capabilities, and applications.
  • Assist sales teams and dealers by demonstrating product advantages and competitive differentiation.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and ensure proper setup of new equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance during large-scale installations and customer site visits.
  • Work closely with the Aftersales, Engineering, and Product Management teams to improve product support.
  • Identify areas where technical support tools, training, or documentation can be enhanced.
  • Assist in the development of technical service bulletins (TSBs) and maintenance best practices.

 

 

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, field service, or training within the equipment, municipal, or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software systems.
  • Experience with municipal equipment, implement carriers, attachments, and sweepers preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Previous experience conducting technical training programs and customer education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
