Production Artist - Denver, Colorado


PURPOSE: Balance technical and creative skills, using design and computer applications for the development and maintenance of product literature, catalogs, images and graphics.



  • Liaise with product managers and brand specialists to maintain accurate information in product catalogs, sell sheets and brochures
  • Ensure text and images work together to meet client expectations
  • Diligently apply design changes to projects
  • Assist in the development of product launch materials
  • Create graphic design themes as needed
  • Manage prepress process for print files
  • Follow deadlines to ensure timely publication of materials
  • Troubleshoot any design or application issues
  • Adjust images for production to ensure color balance, size and resolution meet print requirements
  • Proofreading to spot errors in page text




  • Designs materials for special projects and presentations
  • Other technical duties may include scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning and preflighting, or eliminating defective and excessive imaging.



Minimal Supervision



Associates degree in fine arts or graphic design or related field is required. Must have extensive Adobe InDesign and Photoshop experience, with understanding using layers, style sheets and an understanding for ADA Compliance.



2+ years of Corporate/brand marketing




Highly efficient with specialized skills using design. Attention to detail, able to respond to feedback, and take direction during the proofing cycle. Needs excellent communication and time management skills. Exhibit artistic ability, understanding of color and layout a plus.




While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, perception and the ability to adjust focus.



The job is primarily performed in a typical office environment.  The noise level is usually quiet.

Base Salary

$46,000 - $51,000

Incentive Plan

Karcher Incentive Plan (KIP) - up to 10% of annual salary
