Sr Internal Auditor (m/f/d)

Exceptional solutions require exceptional people. In our Mexican Facility, we are currently hiring a Sr. Internal Auditor for the North and South America Region.

 

Your tasks:

  • As part of the Internal Audit Department Group you support to create the annual risk-based internal audit program and the development of the audit methodologies, working programs, reporting protocols etc.   
  • You are leading an autonomous execution of Internal Audits and supporting the group, regional and local management teams with evaluating and implementing pragmatic internal audit recommendations.
  • You monitor and report on the implementation of recommendations (Follow-up).
  • Collaborate with external auditors on internal control findings and scope of work.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement within the function.
  • Manage ad-hoc audits, projects and special compliance investigations. 

 

Your Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Economics/Finance or similar. Professional exams like CIA, CISA, etc. (desirable.)
  • 3 + years of work experience as an (internal) auditor with one of the Big 4 and/or an international, preferably medium-sized enterprise in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong accounting, analytical and project management skills in different business environments identifying root causes and developing pragmatic solutions.
  • Hands-on mentality, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented.
  • Experience using ERP applications (SAP.)
  • Fluent English, and Spanish. Portuguese (desirable.) Communication skills as well as the ability to communicate with different stakeholders and hierarchies.
  • Availability to travel 50% of the time.
