Diesel Mechanic

WOMA South Africa – part of the global WOMA Group, renowned for ultra-high-pressure water jetting and industrial cleaning systems – is looking for qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic technical team.
This role involves extensive national travel to client sites for servicing, commissioning, and supporting our specialised diesel-powered high-pressure equipment. If you’re hands-on, proactive, and passionate about problem-solving in the field – we want to hear from you.

Your Tasks:

• Diagnose, repair, and service diesel-powered high-pressure units.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Travel across South Africa to perform on-site maintenance, installations, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and quality standards.
• Accurately complete service reports, job cards, and documentation.
• Represent the WOMA brand professionally in all client interactions

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

• Red Seal Diesel Mechanic or equivalent trade qualification.
• 2+ years of experience working with diesel engines and industrial machinery.
• Sound knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and high-pressure systems.
• Willingness and availability to travel regularly (frequently on short notice).
• Valid driver’s license (minimum Code 8).
• Ability to read technical diagrams and perform fault-finding under pressure.
