Quality Technician III

Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process including vendor products. Compiles data and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, product audits, process audits, and test protocols
  • Investigate reported customer issues
  • Leads root cause analysis of quality issues and implements corrective actions
  • Work with all personnel on resolution of quality issues
  • Measure and perform dimensional checks on parts
  • Perform quality and material transactions in an ERP system
  • Help maintain calibration of all measuring and testing equipment 
  • Operate pallet jack or dolly as trained and required
  • Comply with all company policies.



Other duties assigned





High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.  Associates Degree in related field preferred.



4-6 years of experience in a quality technician or inspector capacity in a manufacturing operation required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.   
  • Ability to add and / or subtract multiple digit numbers, understand and interpret decimals, understand and read angles.
  • Possesses technical reading experience that includes understanding and interpreting prints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions..
  • Able to use hand tools, pneumatic tools etc.
  • Able to use measuring equipment, (calipers, micrometers, protractor)
  • Observe safety and security procedures.

Works in a production/fabrication warehouse environment that can be dusty and noisy.
