Senior Regional Service Technician

Purpose of the role

To be a custodian of the brand, to effectively meet our customers’ needs, and to help build a growing, profitable, sustainable Kärcher.

 

Your key responsibilities will be

  • To be a custodian of the brand at all times and demonstrate Kärcher values
  • Maintaining a high standard of service and repair on all cleaning equipment ensuring the delivery of a world class service experience
  • Regularly communicating with Team Leader
  • Maintaining, accurately diagnosing and repairing the full range of Industrial cleaning equipment including Municipal
  • Completing documentation of work orders on Oneview FS365, ensuring accurate records are created
  • Controlling van stocks in accordance with customer base – ensuring 5% difference adhered to during all stock takes
  • Effectively communicating daily with regional scheduler to assist operations
  • Identifying and communicating sales leads to relevant sales person
  • Promoting healthy relationships with customers and the One Professional Team
  • Maintaining tools and equipment to a satisfactory and safe condition
  • Participating in on-job coaching with Team Leader ensuring personal development plan is relevant
  • Elevated duties in absence of Team Leader if required
  • Where required attending reactive weekend on-call work orders

 

Your qualifications, experience and characteristics are

  • 3 GCSEs at Grade 4, or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • Formal mechanical/electrical qualifications
  • Proven experience in the service and/or cleaning industry
  • Fantastic communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience with electronics, batteries, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and engines
  • Prior people management experience
  • Experience with municipal cleaning equipment
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight if required
