Job/Role Characteristics:
The Customer Care and Supply Chain Regional Director is a new and critical role overseeing both customer care and supply chain management. This role requires a dynamic and experienced professional who can effectively manage customer relationships, ensure optimized supply chain processes, and drive overall customer satisfaction. The role will report directly to the Regional President. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Regional CFO, Corporate Supply Chain team from HQ, subsidiary country heads, and functional key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of customer care and supply chain activities and initiatives.

Supply Chain Management role:

Collaborate with key stakeholders to create and implement regional supply chain strategies that align with overall company objectives.

Partner with the Corporate Supply Chain to analyse supply chain trends, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize processes.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance regional supply chain performance.

Develop and oversee inventory management strategies, including demand forecasting, inventory accuracy, and optimization of stock levels.

Lead the development and execution of order fulfillment strategies, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods to customers.

Manage regional warehousing and distribution operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with local regulations.

Implement and ensure adherence to supply chain policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Lead and motivate the regional supply chain team, delegating responsibilities and evaluating performance to drive success.

Foster strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally expected (approx. 25%)
Customer Care role:

Support the drive of central (AKW) initiatives as well as executing region & local projects aligned with the overall business strategy at region and local level;

Develop and implement strategies to enhance overall customer service and loyalty;

Adaptation of corporate standards to region and local needs and acting in strategic topics as region challenge partner for local responsible;

Drive value and data driven decision making for 1st-level-support and other possible regional scopes;

Ensure local KPI target achievements, provide region transparency and act in that as region challenger for local managers

Drive and coordinate order automation efforts (e.g. EDI projects) with region sales responsible and AKW

Drive customer master data management activities (esp. processes for duplicate checks & general cleansing)

Improve transparency and suggesting measures by establishing and standardizing KPI's and reporting across the region
It would be WOW if you would bring in:

A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.

Extensive professional experience in customer care management, freight, warehousing, logistics planning, or project management, along with proven leadership experience in supply chain functions.

Strong data-driven and process-oriented mindset with experience in process optimization, change management, and driving innovation.

Advanced proficiency in SAP (SAP/R3) and planning software, preferably Rapid Response.

Negotiation skills in English and an additional Asian language to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders.

Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with a global, cross-cultural perspective.
