Telemarketing Team Leader


Purpose of the role:

The Telemarketing Team Leader oversees the daily running and management of the Kärcher Internal Telemarketing and Telesales Team, meeting any set targets and ensure the continuous development and training of team members.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Making regular contact with hot and warm responses to our demand generation campaigns
  • Booking appointments for our External Sales Teams
  • Working closely with our External Teams and Marketing Teams to identify the best possible opportunities to target key target market groups and markets
  • Lead the Internal Telemarketing/Telesales strategy execution through the effective management of the Internal Telemarketing and Telesales Team
  • Actively research, qualify and confirm meetings with key decision makers        
  • One-to-one phone conversations with prospects to initiate, nurture and convert to appointments
  • Scope out, set and deliver weekly KPIs by coaching, supporting and motivating the team to achieve their goals
  • Keeping close account of the demand generation funnel and sales conversion; making the success factors for the team visible to drive their productivity
  • Participation in the development of sales initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships where required
  • Disciplined use of CRM system, communication and customer management
  • Providing regular reporting of KPIs to the Leadership Team
  • Making a positive contribution to the overall team environment and performance
  • Dealing with all internal and external customers in a professional, effective manner to achieve customer satisfaction


Your qualifications and experience are:

  • 3 GCSEs minimum Grade C including English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Experience in telesales, ideally within a call centre environment
  • Ability to work under pressure towards deadlines
