Telemarketing Executive

 

 

Purpose of the role:

To execute the company telemarketing strategy through effective tele-sales calls to customers and new prospects. This role focusses on booking appointments for our business development team. A high level of commercial initiative and acumen is required to research, qualify and confirm meetings with key decision makers. Targeting key industrial markets, you will work closely with our Business Development Managers to identify the best possible opportunities. For the right candidate this is the ideal first step into an outbound sales career at Karcher.

 

 

 

Your key responsibilities will be

  • Make regular contact with warm and hot responses to our demand generation campaigns
  • Booking appointments for our External Sales Teams and ensuring that appointments are added to sales calendars
  • Use lead forensics to follow up on customer interest
  • Liaising with Field Sales Team on a daily basis
  • Communicate promotional initiatives to market
  • Co-ordinating mail/email/fax campaign
  • Qualify and confirm meetings with key decision makers
  • Execute phone conversations with prospects to initiate conversations, then nurture and convert to appointments
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Disciplined use of CRM system
  • Organising External Sales Teams diaries
  • Actively research, qualify and confirm meetings with key decision makers
  • On occasion you will be required to visit customers with the sales team

 

 

 

Your qualifications and experience are:

  • 3 GCSEs at Grade C, including English and Maths or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Experience in telesales ideally within a call centre environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willing to go the extra mile for internal and external customers
  • Good computer and administration skills/ Proficient in the use of MS office
  • Experience in working to and exceeding targets
  • Good attitude and open to learning is key in this role
  • Self-starter that is results orientated
