Retail Account Executive


Purpose of the role

To provide support to the management of our largest international account, Amazon; as well as AO.com & The Very Group. Secondly, to provide support to the the Retail Sales team in order to fulfil the Retail Sales targets and overall company strategy


Your key responsibilities will be

  • Analysing the internet channel's sell-out data to present weekly updates to key stakeholders within the business
  • Monitoring and investigating sales trends to support the stock forecasting plan, ensuring inventory is planned using data to drive decisions.
  • Ensuring the promotional calendar is updated and shared with our various buying teams and deal confirmations are documented
  • Working with our marketing colleagues to maintain our product detail pages and retailer stores to ensure a top class customer experience
  • Tracking and documenting deal support to ensure an auditable trail for our finance colleagues
  • Effectively and efficiently managing account queries
  • Conducting competitor reviews and maintaining brand visibility, in particular during major deal events
  • Providing general commercial support to the Internet Channel Manager and the UK Retail Sales Director
  • Utilising our new BI Tool to monitor listing changes, out of stocks, run rates, customer reviews, lost buy box opportunities on the Amazon platform
  • Working with our marketing colleagues in the UK to implement and schedule Amazon Retail and B2B marketing packages to support our key campaigns
  • Managing the product review process on Amazon (Vine)
  • Providing support to our marketing agency for the launch of AMS and DSP campaigns throughout the year
  • Learning and sharing good practices with our Amazon Global Team based at Alfred Kärcher Winnenden for true collaborative working


Your qualifications, experience and characteristics are

  • 3 GCSEs at Grade C, or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • Industry knowledge and awareness of online retailing and SEO
  • Experience in a distributor environment, and/or with FMCG/Electronic goods
  • Proficient at using MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • You must be highly analytical, with a fantastic attention to detail
  • You must be highly organised
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build trust and credibility whilst working independently
  • Contributing towards team objectives
  • Ability to work towards targets and KPI's
  • Full UK driving licence essential
