Marketing Communications Executive

 

Purpose of the role

To be a custodian of the brand, to effectively meet our customers’ needs, and to help build a growing, profitable, sustainable Kärcher. Also, to support in the delivery of the marketing communications strategy, that drives all marketing activities for Kärcher (U.K.) Ltd. Professional Channel

 

Your key responsibilities will be

  • Supporting the Marketing Communications Manager in delivering the strategy for the Professional Channel including Kärcher Centers, Dealers, Dealer National and Direct
  • Ensuring that Kärcher's online presence with Professional Channel customers is consistent, impactful and relevant to the target audience
  • Co-ordinating all public relations activity for the Professional Channel; working closely with our agency and internal stakeholders to ensure strategic campaign messages are delivered to the relevant audiences in a timely and effective manner
  • Supporting in the management and delivery of events and exhibitions for Kärcher, ensuring that Kärcher's presence is on message and on CI, supporting the management of the event P&L as well as ROI analysis including capturing leads in OneView
  • Supporting the Marketing Communications Manager – Professional in completing Return on Investment analysis for all major projects and selected smaller projects, ensuring that this insight is shared with the wider team, AKUK and AKW colleagues
  • Co-ordinating PO requisition and ensuring all costs are accurately recorded in a timely manner
  • Keeping up to date with industry news, attending events and contributing insights and ideas to the marketing team
  • Managing content platforms and supporting with copy and content creation, as well as Professional literature and fulfilment of literature requests 
  • Managing dealer MDF claims
  • Supporting the dealer sales team with adhoc dealer marketing requests, including briefing jobs into our design team where necessary
  • Supporting with campaign creation and execution
  • Supporting with social media content creation, scheduling and reporting

 

Your qualifications, experience and characteristics are 

  • 3 GCSEs at Grade 4, or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • CIM Level 4 or above
  • Degree level qualification
  • Previous experience working in a marketing role and/or experience of planning and executing events and exhibitions
  • Fantastic communication skills, both written and oral
  • Analytical skills essential
  • IT literate, and proficient at using MS Office
  • You must be able to work independently and in a team
  • Current UK driving licence essential
  • Willingness to attend meetings out of normal office hours
