Graphic Designer (Mid-Weight)


Purpose of the Role

To support the Design Manager in delivering first-class design output, working on a variety of tasks including creation of point of sale materials, product and campaign literature, exhibition stand design, email templates, online assets and video editing.


Key Areas of Responsibility

Assisting the Design Manager, working on a range of design tasks including artworking, image editing, copy placement and artwork amends, delivering work within agreed timescales and in line with corporate identity guidelines.


Main Tasks

  • Working on a variety of design tasks including brochures, flyers, adverts, HTML emails and exhibition stand designs and social media assets
  • Interpreting objectives set out in design briefs and create high quality design work, meeting deadlines and in-line with corporate identity guidelines
  • Working on the creative and visual aspects of campaign development, contributing ideas and concepts
  • Preparing artwork files for print and web
  • Liaising with external agencies/designers where required
  • Keeping abreast of developments in design trends and software and seek relevant training where necessary


Your qualifications, experience and characteristics are

  • 3 GCSEs at Grade 4 or equivalent including English and Maths
  • Relevant design qualification desirable
  • Previous experience using Adobe Creative Suite
  • At least five years' experience in a Graphic Design role
  • Highly creative, with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to complete projects within given timescales
  • You must be a self-starter and be able to work from a brief
  • You must be highly organised and methodical
