Data Analyst

 

Purpose of the role

To be a custodian of the brand, to effectively meet our customers’ needs, and to help build a growing, profitable, sustainable Kärcher. You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies; collecting and organising data to provide business insights

 

Your key responsibilities will be 

Proactively driving the Kärcher Data Driven Marketing and CRM strategy throughout the business and to support the CRM Manager with Kärcher UK’s Customer Relationship Management system (OneView - Microsoft Dynamics) and marketing e-mail application (Adobe Campaign)  

 

Main Tasks

  • Managing B2C and B2B prospect and customer data; auditing our database and ensuring excellent data quality across the business
  • Processing information alongside CRM Specialists, ensuring legal compliance and 100% accuracy
  • Ensuring data quality by conducting regular data audits and data cleansing
  • Working with the team to create regular analytics reports for marketing activity
  • Preparing, manipulating and editing large data sets for monthly marketing campaigns (Updating Adobe Customer profiles)
  • Analysing data across B2B & B2C databases, extracting valuable insights and interpreting complex data sets to support business strategy
  • Pre-campaign planning, including insight-driven creative testing ideas, agreeing test structures and briefing the data team
  • Assisting with the campaign reporting and reviews, including provision of ad-hoc analysis as and when required
  • Providing reporting and analysis to explain the performance and demonstrate the success of email activity, including proactively looking at performance metrics, drawing conclusions and communicating findings
  • Assisting CRM Manager in Customer Retention strategy through email automation

 

Your qualifications, experience and characteristics are

  • 3 GCSEs at Grade 4 or equivalent including English and Maths
  • Proficient at using MS Office, in particular MS Excel
  • You must have fantastic attention to detail
  • You must be highly analytical and have the ability to model and interpret data
  • You must be able to work within a team and independently if necessary
  • Fantastic communication skills, at both levels, written and verbal
