Press Brake Operator II

The salary range for this position is $28 to $32 annually/hourly

This is how you WOW:

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in all Operator I job requirements.
  • Ability to manually setup non-CNC machines (i.e Drill Press, Band Saw, Mill, Lathe)
  • Has proficiency in Flat Pattern Development and basic trigonometric functions.
  • Sets up Production Machines, including, but not limited to, recalling programs, unloading/loading tools, programming and validating the safety light curtains, processing the first piece for inspection buy-off, and running production.
  • Possesses basic blueprint reading skills.
  • Operate/Monitor multiple equipment pieces during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned downtime.
  • Monitors part conformity through self-inspection utilizing calipers and other tools and makes minor adjustments to ensure acceptable products.

 

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

  • Must have 3 years experience setting up CNC Metal Processing Equipment (i.e Press Brake, Laser, NC Punch, CNC Mill/Lathe)
  • Has used hand routers, hand drills, band saw, hand grinder, air ratchets, impact wrench, and other hand tools to produce parts.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience.
  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)

Physical Demands

 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with arms and hands.
  • Standing for 8 hours and frequent walking required.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

 

Work Environment

 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually high, proper protective equipment is required.
