Manufacturing Quality Manager

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 annually

This is how you WOW:

• Directs and supports the daily operational activities of quality staff members
• Responsible for tracking and improving plant quality KPI through process improvement and systemic quality issue identification and resolution
• Leads investigations of quality defect investigations using 8D problem-solving methodology
• Maintains ISO compliance by participating in audits and facilitating the resolution of audit findings
• Creates, distributes, and presents presentations showing quality data for employee and management quality metric reviews.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

• 3 to 5 years of manufacturing quality experience is required.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Assembly, metal fabrication, plastic rotational molding, and painting experience strongly preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• SAP and SAP QM experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with arms and hands.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to perform tasks that include lifting, standing, and bending for up to 10 hours daily.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• Standard 40-hour workweek applies; Overtime and weekend hours could be possible
• Working hours will be spent in the warehouse environment
• Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking, and lifting is required on a daily basis
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration. 
• The noise level in the work environment is usually high, proper protective equipment is required.
