Inside Sales Representative
The salary range for this position $60,000 - $70,000 DOE
Inside sales role with responsibility for the assigned region of the country, the job entails selling and introducing products to established clients and prospecting for new business, building quotations on standard products, writing orders, and communicating pertinent information to customers.
This is how you WOW:
- Make a preset number of calls per day to current customer base and new prospects
- Developing and accomplishing a region lead generation plan, meeting or exceeding monthly or annual targets.
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes.
- Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to start sales process.
- Cooperating with Sales Supervisor to determine essential strategic approaches for sales.
- Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects of the organization.
- Outbound and inbound account management.
- Attending sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation.
- Handling cancellations or changes in sales order and communicating the changes with the related departments.
- Coordinating with customer service for status on orders from related plant departments in ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met.
- Providing effective product recommendations for the resellers.
- Emphasizing service or product features and benefits, discussing credit terms, quoting prices.
- Capturing of accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
- Attending industry conferences to develop industry expertise and to build network.
It would be WOW if you would bring this in:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Previous Inside Sales support experience with a track record of success.
- Ability to always remain professional and courteous with customers
- Excellent customer relationship skills in developing trust and loyalty with our customer base
- Ability to anticipate customer needs based on initial inquiries and/or limited information
- Strong skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as the internet and other computer programs
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong hunting and closing skills
- Ability to work with other team members to resolve issues
- Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrated solution-oriented approach to supporting Sales Team and Customers.
- Ability to adapt to stretch goals and continuous improvement company culture
- Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
- Should be expert in CRM usage.
- Prominent organization, presentation, and time management skills.
- Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
