eCommerce Specialist - Aurora, Colorado

Ecommerce Specialist - Aurora, Colorado

 

Purpose

eCommerce Specialist is the owner of digital product page for Karcher's Home & Garden consumer site and Karcher's retailer partner sites like, Amazon, HomeDepot.com, Target.com, Walmart.com.  The overall objective of the role is to maintain a best in class online presence of Karcher's consumer products which consist of A+ Content, availability of product and the overall Digital Online Shelf.    This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Operations to optimize eCommerce sales and market share. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update product content contained on eCommerce websites/portals.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and take ownership of daily business administration on assigned accounts.
  • Cultivate standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, and new product listings.
  • Partner with marketing to create necessary eCommerce assets such as images, videos, A+ Content to support eCommerce at key retailers
  • Work with product management, sales, marketing, and other relevant departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared across eCommerce platforms.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best practices, pricing policies, media assets, inventory and/or pre-orders.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education

College degree in business management or marketing preferable or documented field related to eCommerce in the consumer goods industry. 

 

Experience

2 to 4 years of working with consumer goods online retailers and eCommerce sites.  Preferably experience working with a leading consumer brand distributed through retailers like Home Depot, Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. The ability to influence and work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing and Product Management is especially important
  • Demonstrated success in positioning and launching differentiated products that meet and exceed business objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, possibly including some copywriting skills.
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel Pivot Tables), Adobe Apps, and Google Apps.
  • Strong communication skills verbal and written. 
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are communicated, maintained, followed and approved corrective or disciplinary action is taken when required.

Base Salary

$75,000 - $80,000

 

Incentive Plan

Karcher Incentive Plan (KIP) - up to 10% of annual salary
