Customs Compliance Coordinator

The salary range for this position is $70,000 -$90,000 DOE including a 10% bonus opportunity under the Karcher Incentive Plan

This is how you WOW:

• Stay up to date with the ever-changing landscape of U.S. trade regulations, tariffs, and sanctions imposed by various countries. 
• Ensure that all import and export activities comply with the applicable laws and regulations, minimizing the risk of fines and penalties that may impact the company’s trade compliance program.
• Determining the correct classification and valuation of goods. Ensure that products are accurately classified under the Harmonized System (HS) codes and valued correctly for determining duties and taxes.
• Identify potential trade compliance risks, assess risks associated with trade transactions, including the possibility of trade violations, fraud, or supply chain disruptions. 
• Work on implementing strategies to mitigate these risks and maintain the company’s reputation.
• Routinely downloading shipping documents for CBP compliant records retention while conducting spot check audits to ensure shipments can be traced back to their origin.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related fields
• Minimum of 3 years of trade compliance experience
• Familiar with EAR regulations, Import/Export regulations, applicable exemptions, and Free Trade Agreements.
