Sr. Director Online Sales

The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $175,000 depending on experiece, with bonus opportunity.

  • Establish sales, marketing, pricing and distribution plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of products in existing and new markets.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives that drive awareness, traffic, conversion, revenue, and profitability across KNA's entire eCommerce universe.
  • Develop, monitor, and update product content, ensuring excellence on all eCommerce websites/portals, including the creation of necessary eCommerce assets such as images, videos, and A+ Content, in partnership with Marketing.
  • Cultivate standards, systems, and best practices for traffic generation, content management, promotions, and product bundling across multiple online categories.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding and leverage of account-specific SEO best practices, pricing policies, media assets, and inventory management for all key online retailers.
  • Lead the e-Commerce technology platform strategy and ensure full optimization, utilization, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage advanced analytics to deeply understand online sales trends, identify new market opportunities, and formulate responsive strategy and policy.
  • Establish short and long-range sales, pricing, and distribution plans and programs to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of products in existing and new markets.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals for the combined online and traditional sales teams accordingly.
  • Oversee and provide direction for market and competitor analysis across both physical and digital sales channels.
  • Meet with key clients and strategic partners (both online and brick-and-mortar) to develop and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Provide input and support to product research and development activities, aligning new product launches with channel-specific strategies.

 

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of progressive sales experience is required, with a significant portion in the consumer hard goods industry.
  • 7-10+ years of proven success working in eCommerce with leading pureplay, direct-to-consumer, or major retail.com platforms (e.g., Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart).
  • At least 7 years of experience in progressively responsible supervisory management roles, including experience managing a team of 5 or more people.
  • Required experience in developing and leading a growth-oriented sales organization.
  • Strongly desired experience doing business with large traditional retailers.
