Facilities Maintenance Support

The salary range for this position is $20.00 -$24.00 depending on experience.

This is how you WOW:

• Custodial duties ranging from wall repair to snow removal.

• Operate and maintain Karcher motorized ride-on floor scrubbers as needed to maintain plant cleanliness.

• Sweep and mop remote areas of the plant floors that are inaccessible to motorized floor scrubbers.

• Clean trash from parking lots, driveways, and dumpster areas.

• Replenish necessary supplies as needed.

• Inspects, adjusts and repairs building and facilities equipment and maintains records of these activities.

• Aids in maintaining a continuous program of preventative maintenance on all equipment.

• Creates a safe working environment with an emphasis on long term fixes and quality.

• May be required to drive company vehicles for supplies.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

·         High School or GED required. Trade School preferred.

·         1 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Experience and understanding of AC electrical systems, pneumatic systems, plumbing, pipefitting, fire life safety, HVAC, concrete repair, welding and troubleshooting preferred.

·         Problem-solving abilities

·         Ability to work well with a team as well as independently

·         Ability to use a multi-meter, amp-meter and oscilloscope

·         Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Work Environment

·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with arms and hands.

·         Standing for 8 hours and frequent walking required.

·         The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Physical Demands

·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to airborne particles.

·         The noise level in the work environment is usually high, proper protective equipment is required.
