Engineering Project Manager
The salary range for this position is $110,000.00 -$130.000.00 depending on experience, with bonus opportunity.

This is how you WOW:
- Perform Project Management responsibilities on NPD projects as assigned, working with the team members to assure project success. This management is to begin at the assigning of the New Product Development Team, and is to continue through the state of production on the last of the model variations, including the closing of the Project File and the documenting of all “Lessons Learned” activities
- Assures the correct use of applicable New Product Development tools, including QFD type activities, FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), DFMA (Design for Manufacturability), and testing
- Balances the requirements of Marketing (Business viewpoint), Engineering (Technical viewpoint), and Industrial Design (Customer viewpoint), resolving conflicts between these different views when required
- Manages the project schedule, project cost, and project specifications, optimizing the production of the right product, at the right time, for the right price
- Works closely with the team members representing the various disciplines on the New Product Development teams, conducts regular team meetings, and reports team progress to management on a regular basis
- Provides project management assistance to other small projects as assigned
- Assists with the evaluation of various department staff and resources as made possible through working with the staff and resources on the NPD teams
- Assists with the evaluation and improvement of related department processes, leading to continuous improvement within the department
- Monitors and improve department processes, and works with other managers to monitor and improve engineering processes across the organization
It would be WOW if you would bring this in:
- Bachelor of Science – Mechanical/Electric Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education. Additional course work in Project Management, management type courses, and problem-solving techniques is preferred
- Four or more years’ experience managing technical projects and complex activities. This experience should be gained in areas of engineering or technical operations and should include a minimum of two years as a Project Manager
- Ability to conduct team meetings by facilitating discussions, coordinating activities, and assigning tasks
- Ability to identify project risks and provide the leadership required to resolve issues
- Skilled at making public presentations and creating concise written reports
- General technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to transform individual members into a highly effective team
- Skilled in building trust across all levels of the organization
- Skilled in the use of tools from the Project Management Body of Knowledge
- Skilled at collaboration with cross functional teams
- Skilled at independent and creative problem-solving
- Internal resolve to drive assignments to completion
