Electrical Engineering Lead

The salary range for this position is $105,000.00 -$120,000.00 annually,  based on your experience, with opportunities for additional bonus compensation. 

 

This is how you WOW:

  • Design and lead the development of electrical systems, harnessing, components, and firmware based on project needs and specifications.

  • Utilize tools such as CAD software for schematic, PCB, and firmware.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide input during product development phases.

  • Collaborate with other senior engineers and managers to ensure design integrity, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes for electrical components and systems.

  • Identify areas for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction.

  • Lead development and implementation of test and inspection procedures to ensure product quality and reliability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during manufacturing.

  • Establish quality control standards and guidelines for electrical products.

  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.

  • Conduct thorough testing, validation, and verification of electrical systems.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for any quality deviations.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into final products.

  • Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and project planning sessions.

  • Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the team.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to electrical design, manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures.

  • Generate regular progress reports and technical documentation for internal and external purposes.

  • Other duties as assigned

 

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience (typically 6-10 years) in electrical design, manufacturing, or a related role.

  • 2 years direct leadership  or project management responsibilities

  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, such as CAD software, PCB design tools, harness design, and simulation software.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including NEC, IEC, and IEEE.

  • Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and quality control principles.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical manufacturing.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
